Hello Forex World!

Hello Forex World I’m back! After more than two years of absence from this blog, I come back reinvigorated and re-energised about forex trading. I aim to keep this blog updated frequently from now on, reflecting upon my trading journey from this point onwards.
My Forex Trading Background
I started trading forex four years ago in 2002. I learned a lot from reading books and attending “free” seminars (you know the ones where they try to hard sell you some service or product). That was my trading education... plenty of books and a lot of listening. Having a curious mind was my key to success back then (and still is). I traded on and off while I studied Electrical Engineering. I needed an income and with the 20 hours of contact time and 20 hours of self-study - engineering didn’t give me the time to work a casual job. So I made a bit of money on the side whilst studying.
Fast forward to the latter half of last year... I was getting bored of trading. Actually, trading was starting to control my life and it was driving me nuts. Sitting in front of a computer too long is not healthy. I decided to quit and move on to focus on other business opportunities and to get a fresh start on life.
I guess I see the last 7-8 months as a sabbatical from forex trading. A well needed break to take a step back and review. It was a good time to simply focus on other things for a while.
What’s Next for me in Forex Trading
I want to change my forex trading style. Although I was profitable before, I do not want to return to that style of trading. This blog will document my journey. My evolution to another style of forex trading. My time away is a resetting of old habits and this time around is an opportunity to set new trading habits.
